Meta’s $27 billion data centre in Louisiana has made waves by being the first off balance sheet investment of its kind. Construction on the project was well under way when Meta announced a new financing deal last month. Meta moved the project, called Hyperion, off its books into a new joint venture with investment manager Blue Owl Capital. Meta owns 20%, and funds managed by Blue Owl own the other 80%.

This panel will discuss the new types of debt financing coming on the market and how joint ventures are being structured.
