Presentation - From project to platform: modular data centers built for AI-scale growth
As AI and high-performance computing accelerate demand, traditional project-by-project data center delivery models are no longer fast enough. Scaling capacity now requires more than prefabricated components — it demands a repeatable, digitally enabled deployment platform. This presentation explores how modular data center design is evolving into fully integrated, scalable infrastructure platforms. Through a real-world case study with Echelon Data Centres, we demonstrate how operators are transitioning to platform-based delivery models that combine reference architecture, factory-built modular power systems and a structured digital engineering backbone - enabling rapid, repeatable deployment across sites and scaling from core to edge with speed, resilience, and execution certainty.
