Alberto Ravagni
Dr. Ravagni brings over 20 years of experience in the energy industry and is a clean energy architect and industry expert in clean energy, energy storage, and fuel cell technologies.
Since May 1st Dr. Ravagni is the CEO of the Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers, an initiative funded by Microsoft, Google, Schneider Electric, Vertiv, Data4 and Danfoss to accelerate the Net Zero Transition of the Data center Industry.
Dr. Ravagni is a co-founder of InfraPrime℠, a climate neutral data center infrastructure company focused on clean energy generation and energy storage products. Ravagni leads the investment plan and the institutional relations with the European Union and the global Clean Energy sector.
Previously, he was the founder and CEO of SOLIDPower, a market leading fuel cells company, which commercialized fuel cells generators in megawatt scale for residential, SME, and data center clients including the Microsoft Fuel Cell Energy Lab in Seattle, Washington, USA. Ravagni was a member of the first board of the Joint Technology Initiative for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells of the European Commission, a public-private partnership which manages a €1 billion innovation program to drive the transition to zero carbon energy systems. Ravagni is a proven entrepreneur to build successful businesses including his role as CEO of Unaxis Nimbus Ltd, a market leader in tools for the optical data storage industry. Ravagni held global executive management positions Oerlikon Balzers AG, Delphi Automotive Systems and General Motors for the development, industrialization and commercialization of innovative solutions across the medical, aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors. Dr. Ravagni has a Master in Material Engineering from the University on Trento (Italy) and a Ph.D. in Material Science from the Institute of New Materials of the Leibnitz Associations (Saarbrücken, Germany), where he developed metallorganic nanomaterials and their applications.
