In March 2026 Bill Davis joined the Ares Digital Infrastructure team as Partner and Chief Investment Officer with over two decades of experience across real estate assets and investing. In this role he helps lead the firm’s investments in the rapidly growing data center space. 

Prior to joining Ares, Bill was the Chief Investment Officer at PureDC, where he led strategy, investment and capital markets efforts for one of the largest European data center development platforms.  Previously, he also worked at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group based in New York.  He has specialized in the data center sector since 2016, having advised or been a principal on over $50 billion of strategic transactions spanning five continents.
