David Kandel is Global Data Center Application Manager at Belimo and a recognized authority in advanced hydronic heating and cooling systems. A founding member of the Belimo control valve engineering team, he played a pivotal role in the development of industry-defining technologies, including the Characterized Control Valve (CCV) and the Pressure Independent Characterized Control Valve (PICCV).

Since joining Belimo in 1998, Mr. Kandel has held several influential positions—among them Valve Development Manager and Product Manager for Control Valves—helping shape the company’s product strategy, innovation roadmap, and global market leadership. Today, he focuses on advancing liquid-cooling solutions for data centers, driving application expertise and supporting partners worldwide.

Mr. Kandel holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester (NY, USA).
