David Lane is Chief Executive Officer of Beacon Data Centers, where he leads the company’s strategy, capital formation, and the development of digital infrastructure solutions across North America. An infrastructure investor by background, he brings more than a decade of experience deploying capital into power, energy, and digital platforms, with a track record spanning Europe and North America. David also serves as Chief Investment Officer at Nadia Partners, the specialist investor in AI, digital infrastructure and energy infrastructure that founded Beacon.

Over the past decade, David has worked on the delivery of more than two gigawatts of power projects across seven countries, giving him a rare combination of capital markets expertise and firsthand experience in the energy systems that underpin modern compute.

Prior to joining the Nadia portfolio, he was a Vice President at IFM Investors in London, focusing on long-term infrastructure investments on behalf of global institutional investors. David spent six years at ORIX Group, where he led investments across the energy and infrastructure sectors. During this period he also served as a Board Member of Elawan Energy, a global renewable energy platform, supporting its growth and international expansion.

David began his career in investment banking at Evercore in the firm’s utilities, power, infrastructure and transport M&A group, advising on complex mergers, acquisitions, and financings. He holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance from Warwick Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from University College Cork.
