Dr Eric Topham is CEO and co-founder of OctaiPipe, an AI company focused on improving data centre cooling efficiency through secure, explainable edge intelligence. With a background spanning academic research, public-sector data science, and deep-tech company building, Eric has spent his career applying advanced analytics and machine learning to complex operational environments. Before founding OctaiPipe in 2016, he worked as an AI and data scientist with the NHS and UCL, following earlier academic research at Oxford University. Today, he works with data centre operators and partners across the data centre ecosystem to bring trusted AI into live critical infrastructure environments.
