Greg Parker is a Senior Managing Director and the Global Head of Data Center Construction, Projects & Assets at FTI Consulting. Greg’s primary focus is on the telecom, media and technology (“TMT”) sector, including data centers, manufacturing and related industries. He collaborates closely with FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring and Strategic Communications segments to deliver tailored solutions that optimize the end-to-end delivery of new facilities — from market development and investment through to operational readiness and handover to operations.

During his career, Greg has led program, project, risk and cost management services for major global clients in the financial, life sciences, media and technology, industrial, aviation, hospitality and retail sectors, overseeing significant development programs and projects. Additionally, he has collaborated with public owners in transit, education and housing. Notably, Greg has an extensive track record in life sciences, having delivered campus developments for eight of the 10 largest global companies by market capitalization.

Technically, Greg is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 35 years of experience in North America and Europe. He has deep subject-matter knowledge in construction cost and procurement management, providing a strategic role in the control, management and performance of major capital expenditure (“CapEx”) programs for major corporate and public sector owners. Greg is a seasoned leader in construction risk identification, planning and the implementation of mitigation strategies. His expertise in anti-fraud strategies has been instrumental in helping numerous companies establish and implement risk management as a core project management activity, providing a sense of reassurance in complex situations and simplifying dispute resolution.
