Maxine Ghavi is an Executive Vice President and Region Head for Europe at Hitachi Energy. She was the Global Head of Grid Edge Solutions within Hitachi Energy’s Grid Automation Business, a role she held from 2019-2024. Prior, she served in leadership roles at ABB including Head of Market Development for Grid Edge Technologies, Program Director for Microgrids, and Head of Solar Industry Segment Initiative. She brings more than 30 years of experience in business operations and management, strategy, business and market development, product management, as well as marketing and sales. Her domain knowledge spans across multiple industries, including energy, with a strong emphasis on grid edge solutions, microgrids, storage and renewables, semiconductor capital equipment, embedded software, and electrooptics.
