Over 28 years at Schneider Electric, Rob has held management roles in the CTO office, customer service, technical sales, offer management, business development, and industry associations, consistently driving technological innovation.

Rob has led pioneering research in the data center sector, helping establish the industry’s first environmental sustainability framework with standardized metrics to reduce operators’ environmental impact. He also spearheaded early work in liquid cooling systems, shaping Schneider Electric’s strategic direction in this area.

Throughout his career with APC (formerly American Power Conversion) and Schneider Electric, Rob has lived and worked in the US, Europe, and China. Before joining APC, he served as a commissioned officer in the US Navy Submarine Force. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the US Naval Academy and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
