Dr. Samir Soua is a distinguished expert in high-power electronics with over 30 years of experience. He currently serves as the Chief Consulting Engineer at GE Vernova Electrification, where he leads AI data center Power to IT rack innovation. In this role, Dr. Soua is dedicated to ensuring power stability, availability, energy efficiency, and power density of DC architectures, specifically tailored for AI data centers.

Dr. Soua managed a diverse portfolio of products and technologies at GE Vernova Power Conversion & Strorage. Throughout his illustrious career, he has led international technological innovation teams at Alstom, Converteam, and subsequently at GE Vernova. His expertise lies in optimizing the performance of power conversion systems and products across low to medium voltage applications.

He has spearheaded several cross-functional initiatives aimed at intensive industrial electrification, significantly contributing to enhanced energy efficiency and the quality of connections to electrical grid. Dr. Soua’s comprehensive understanding of the value chain—from the grid to the industrial process—enables him to apply a structured and strategic approach to addressing the critical challenges of productivity, sustainability, and reliability in power conversion systems.

More recently, he has focused his efforts on medium voltage DC electrification of AI data centers, leveraging his extensive experience to drive forward-thinking solutions in power management and conversion technologies.
