Suneel Appan is Sector Lead for Data Centres at Future Biogas and also serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Association for Decentralised Energy. He holds an engineering degree from Loughborough University. Prior to joining Future Biogas, Suneel worked for British Sugar and Associated British Foods, where he managed group energy and utilities portfolios across Europe. He has more than a decade of experience spanning energy commodities, risk management and carbon emissions. Since joining Future Biogas in January 2024, Suneel has focused on developing new commercial opportunities, particularly across the data centre and biogenic CO2 sectors.
