Nuclear Summit

Introducing Nuclear for AI Summit

The Nuclear for AI Summit is the inaugural, high level closed door gathering designed to accelerate the strategic integration of advanced nuclear energy into global digital infrastructure, particularly as AI drives unprecedented power demand. Developed by Datacloud (a techoraco brand) in collaboration with the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) and the Digital Infrastructure Alliance, the Summit aims to provide practical, commercially oriented frameworks that enable nuclear powered AI growth.

The Summit moves the conversation from theoretical to deployable, examining commercial readiness, regulatory alignment, timelines, partnership structures, and how industry and government can collaborate to bring nuclear solutions forward for hyperscale and enterprise compute.

Part of Datacloud Global Congress

It is embedded within Datacloud Global Congress (DCGC), the world’s most influential leadership forum for data centre, cloud and AI infrastructure executives.

As the U.S. Department of Energy’s lead national laboratory for nuclear energy research, design, and demonstration, INL is working directly with the digital infrastructure sector to accelerate deployment of advanced nuclear technologies capable of supporting unprecedented hyperscale growth.

Together with the Digital Infrastructure Alliance, which represents the operational and infrastructure equities of the data centre industry, this summit will convene senior executives from energy, technology, finance, and government to examine how advanced nuclear can underpin long-term competitiveness, energy security, and sustainable expansion of global AI capacity.

Key Themes

  • Energy Security for the AI Era: Overcoming grid constraints, long interconnection timelines, power scarcity and planning barriers.

  • Commercialisation Roadmap: Readiness of advanced nuclear (SMRs, microreactors), deployment timelines, cost structures, and technology differentiation.

  • Regulatory Alignment: International coordination and policy pathways enabling nuclearpowered AI infrastructure.

  • Partnership & Investment Models: Frameworks for developers, operators, utilities and government collaboration.

  • From Dialogue to Deployment: Practical steps required to move real projects into build mode.

Why It Matters

  • This is the first global summit to position nuclear energy as a strategic enabler for AI leadership and digital economic competitiveness. As nations race to scale compute, nuclear will become a central pillar of nextgeneration energy infrastructure supporting hyperscale campuses and industrialscale AI clusters. At Idaho National Laboratory, we are at the forefront of this innovation and this collaboration with Datacloud is a critical piece of our engagement strategy across 2026 and beyond.
    Brian Smith
    CTO, Idaho National Laboratory
  • Datacloud Global Congress always strives to deliver impact and strategic value to our community. We are delighted to host this historic first summit in Cannes. We stand at the precipice of unprecedented societal and economic revolution as new technologies proliferate, we take our role in helping the industry design and shape the future very seriously indeed.
    Annabel Helm
    MD, Datacloud
  • The purpose of the Digital Infrastructure Alliance is to support and enable exactly these type of action-focussed summits. Nuclear is, and will only become more so, a critical element in the current energy availability crisis. This summit will play a key role in defining the role that nuclear could play in supporting the deployment of AI.
